What is the Bromic Oxyset Mobile Brazing Kit flame temperature?

The flame temperature is about 3200 degrees Celsius, but this depends on the ratio of oxygen to fuel when burning.

Which controllers are compatible for jet pumps?

We have a 3kW pressure controller (7575372) which controls the pump supply for the rainwater. We have a hydro switch (7575029) which can be added to this controller to allow the mains water to be connected so water can be supplied even if there is no tank water

My jet pump is constantly running and not shutting off.

Either there is no controller connected or it is not plugged in correctly. Read instruction manual to see how to connect the controller.

Can I use the pump in an area that gets cold or freezes?

Shouldn’t use this pump if its in a place where water freezes. Water will expand when it freezes inside the pump and will cause the pump to crack. The water should be fully drained from the pump and pipes during these periods.

How do I increase the pressure on my jet pump?

Check on the flow vs head chart. If you decrease the flow the pressure will increase. More pressure can also be achieved with less bends and height in the piping. Pressure=head*9.81*specific density

Where is the start switch for my jet pump?

It will work when it is primed with water and the power is plugged in.

Do the jet pumps have watermark approval?

No, they are not required to have watermark approval. They have AS4020 approval for drinking water.

How do I drain my jet pump?

Unscrew the metal bolt at the back near the bottom of the metal part of the pump to drain water out. Can also tip the pump without breaking connections to drain more.

How do I prime my jet pump?

There are instructions in the instruction manual which include pictures of where the metal bolt at the top of the metal part of the pump next to the outlet hose, unscrew and fill up with water with a jug.

Why is my pump is noisy?

The jet pumps do produce some noise when in operation, although if the noise sounds odd or uneven, there may be a problem. The impeller could be damaged (due to the pump running dry, or something stuck), or bubbles could be present (cavitation) which causes noise and also damage. Prime and purge pump with water so there are no bubbles present.
